which says that you should pull the li-ion battery out of a laptop whenever you're using it on AC power to prevent battery damage.
isn't there some way to "disconnect" the battery from the laptop without actually pulling it out? (through software, etc)
also, you only have to disconnect the battery when it's fully charged and you're running on AC right? I mean so you can charge it while using the machine
