Question about joining 2 video files w/ Virtuadub

I have a couple of videos that I have captured onto my hard drive and encoded w/ Xvid. They are the same resolution and everything, but when I try to join them together with virtuadub, the audio/video synchronization gets lost once the video gets to where the 2nd video was added onto it.

I did some google searching and found this is a common problem apparently, but couldn't really understand the solution. Something about creating scripts with AVISynth, but I couldn't make heads or tails of that.

Can anyone help me out here with a simple way of joining the 2 files into 1?

Thanks

try using nandub, you'll find that nandub is less likely to change the audio sync -- at least for me when deleting video portions from an avi.
