Is there a way to create a playlist on one computer that plays songs from another? I know you can stream files (I'm streaming from my laptop to my desktop right now), but I'd like to create custom playlists that reference the streaming files. Anyone know if this is possible?

Edit: Sorry couldn't find any way to do it, but I didn't try beyond the basic ways to make playlists.
 
Sure you can. I am right now playing songs on iTunes from someone elses hard drive on the same network. You just have to enable music sharing. I don't know if it works the same way on the PC version though.

Yeah, I can play my roomate's songs and his playlists, but I can't create a playlist with his songs in it. If that makes sense. 😛
