Hi, I just wanted some advice on what to do. I had sold some DDR2 dual channel memory. The buyer PMed me back saying that they were DOA; however I had tested them before shipping it out using MEMTEST since I had an issue with another user a few months ago. Therefore I don't ship it out without testing. The other thing is that the one ram stick seems to have been tempered with. there is a sticker label over where the heatspreader clips which seems have been separated. Also the corner of the ram stick have been damaged, seems like the buyer had tried to force the memory in incorrectly. Because of this, I can't even get an rma on the memory.

Do they still work? Or does he still have them?

Do you have pics of the condition that they were sent out?

no pics, but even if it's bad I could get it back to do an rma. but the one stick clearly was tampered with.

I received it back today. In the process of testing them now.

I just noticed that the initial nickname he had used to purchase the ram from me was banned. Is there a way to find out what the reason is? He had contacted me using another nickname to complain about the ram not working, but I never thought about it until now.

Just finished testing the 2 memory sticks. The stick that was tampered with does not even boot. The other one is fine.
