I just purchased a Samsung Syncmaster 204B yesterday and so far I must say, I like it
This one is set up at home, but I think I could really put a larger screen like this to good use at work, too. So I am considering either taking this one to work, or purchasing a second one to take up there. The only real problem might be this:
Our computers at work only use intel's integrated graphics chipsets. I don't doubt that they'll do 1600x1200, but what about rotation? This particular monitor can be swiveled into a portrait mode which, when the video is rotated also, would give me 1600 lines of vertical resolution - great for programming, where I like to be able to see as much of the code as I can. Would this work?
