Question about installing Win2k Pro on Athlon 1GHz/Abit KT7-RAID

I am installing Win2k Pro onto a co-workers machine, but have a few things I want to check on first. The machine is an Athlon 1GHz on an Abit KT7-RAID. I've never worked with an Athlon chip or a VIA chipset motherboard, so I'm wondering if there are any special drivers or anything I need to worry about to make sure the machine performs properly.

Any other differences (from an Intel/BX/815e install) I should know about?

if the hdd is on the highpont controller, you need the drivers for that on install. after that, you should use the 4 in 1's from viahardware.com. other than that, there isn't anything major you need to do.

you can just get them from abit's website, under your mobo.. good luck..
