Im going to install NT4 on an old machine here. Its been so long since I have installed/used NT4, but I was wondering is there away to install without the floppies? I have them, but the drive is dead.

Have you consider putting all the files onto a CD and installing it from there? Seems like that should work.

BTW, I've installed mutiple nt4.0 os, but they were all on CDs 🙂

thanks I'll give that a try.

when I boot from the NT4 cd to do the install it always asks for the floppies and if you dont have them you can make them.

The latest versions of NT4 cds came with a bootable portions which were the floppies on the CD. If your CD boots and asks you to create the bootable floppies, then you will need 3 floppies and replace your drive. They are cheap anyway.
