How do i make IE 5.5 install language pack for chinese or mandarin ?
it used to pop out whenever i visit chinese related sites..but it doesnt anymore...
pls help...thanks
 
I was able to install additional languages by....
Tools -> Internet Options -> General Tab -> Languages -> Add.

Hope that helps.

must I take it that you've installed the relevent language packs in the past?
if yes, then there would be no need for you to be alerted to install something you already have installed.
then again I could have completely misunderstood what you're asking! 😱
 
I've understood it just as bacillus has. If I understood it correctly, I guess you're having problems viewing websites written in chinese (and the "install the language" message does not appear any more). If you've downloaded the language pack previously, just go to "view"->"encoding"->"chinese".

oh...i had it installed...but i have re-format my pc...and it feels kinda weird because the language pack installation msg didnt pop out every time i visit some chinese sites...
but it's working now...
