When looking at my 'computer' screen, I have 3 hard drives. My main hard drive with most of my programs, which is the C: drive. I have another internal drive E:, and an external hard drive that is permanently connected to the computer, the F: drive.
I want to change icon of the F: to an icon of a picture of the actual unit.
I made an .ico file of it, and went into the registery and made a key pointing to the ico file. and it worked.... however when i goto 'views' and goto 'large' or 'extra large' icons the image doesn't change, and stays tiny. I was sure to make the image file 256x256 because I believe thats the largest icon size in Vista.
Anyone know how to help me out on this?
Or should this go in the 'highly technical' forum?
Thanks
