Question about hybrid cars

I know that hybrid cars are going to supposedly be the future of the car industry. Heck, Ford is coming out with a hybrid escape this summer, i think. the question that comes to my mind is, how expensive will it be to fix one of these hybrids compared to a convenitional car?
 
They are not the future. They are just the in between some big break through tech. In 10 years or so something better will be here and hybrids will be history.
