Question about hotel reservations

Check In time is 4PM and Checkout is 11AM

Say I check in Monday afternoon aruond 5, but would like to leave Tuesday around 8.
Would they bill me for three days or two?

2 days....anything after 11AM is the new day

IF you call the front desk the day you're s'posed to check out, they will usually allow you to stretch your checkout time. Sometimes they'll hit you for a half day. Ask when you check in what the usual situation is for that hotel, they're all different.

checkin: monday 5 pm
checkout: tuesday 8 am
charge: 1 night

checkin: monday 5 pm
checkout: tuesday 8 pm
charge: 2 nights

8 AM or PM?

If you check in Monday at 5PM and check out Tuesday at 8 AM, it's only 1 night.

If you check out Tuesday at 8 PM, they would charge an extra night, but why would you check out at night?

I agree, if you are checking out at 8pm, why? If you just need someplace to keep[ your luggage, the front desk usually can do that for you.

(unless it's a MOTEL of course)

it's my gf's birthday and believe it or not she wants to go to a hotel and u know...since ppl are always home!!!
