I'm asking because Asus's manual for the case I have (Rog Z11) is very specifically worded, and there are 2 videos I saw on YT of people's Ryujin smoking and the pumps burning up. People replied asking what they did both replied "I hooked it up wrong" but neither explained how they hooked it up. Anywho, this is what the Z11 manual says about 1 of the 2 USB headers on the controller card.

USB 2.0 - Dedicated USB connection for the Ryujin 240mm AIO cooler OLED or other OLED integrated AIO coolers.

They specifically mention OLED twice, and the Ryujin 2 has an LCD screen. The MB I ordered today only has a single USB 2 header (Asus ROG Z690-I), it does include a splitter but I'll have 3 things that need a USB 2 header so I'm wondering if I could hook the AIO to the 2nd AIO USB. Seeing the videos on YT with smoke coming out of the pump and Asus using OLED in the description has me not wanting to even think about it unless I'm told different. I did email Asus support and posted a question on their Reddit, but I don't know when they'll get back to me and the stuff's coming tuesday. If I don't hear anything, I'll just leave one of the devices unplugged for now and plug the AIO into the splitter.

I don't remember (and am too lazy to look) what motherboard?

Asus ROG Z690-I, only has a single USB 2.0 header. Does come with a splitter but like I said I'll need 3 of them for this build. And the manual for the case also says the USB 2 header on the controller for the AIO should not be connected to a front panel USB header. Which leads me to believe it's not a standard header. And I've never seen a 3 way splitter for a USB header leading me to believe that either wouldn't work, or would be a bad idea.

Yeah...I don't know about using splitters for that. What else needs USB 2.0? Does your case have USB 2.0 on the front panel? MOST newer case manufacturers are getting away from 2.0 and going to 3.0 or later. Never mind...just looked it up...yes it does have 2.0 on the front IO panel.
You're really setting yourself up for headaches with this build.

You might be on to something, but even if I return the case I've already ordered the MB. I suppose worse case scenario I leave the front USB 2.0s unhooked. The MB has uh 10? USB ports or something and 3 of the ones on the front will still work. I know this build might be more difficult than it needs to be. But if I can't assemble a damn PC, I don't deserve to be building em anymore. I've been doing this since the 386 days when cases were terribly low quality with tons of super sharp unfinished edges that could almost take your finger off if you weren't careful. I bled lots of blood building PC's back in those days lol.
