Question about Honda Warranty & Alarm

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if purchasing an aftermarket alarm system voids the Honda Warranty if it's not from Honda dealer? Or is it a good idea to go to the dealer to get alarm and installation? I am new to this car business so I am pretty much clueless. Also, I heard that Clifford and Viper are two of the very good brands out there for alarms. Can someone give me some inputs on that if possible? The car is a 2003 Accord.

Sheesh, if it's a 2003, why didn't you just get it installed with the car?

Not sure exactly - might depend on the dealership. Just ask them if having Car Alarm X installed at Electronics Store Y would void your warranty.
