Im a high school student here taking the wonderful class of calculas. Just wondering if anyone here has found a use for it? I am really thinking of quittinng due to senoritis and the freakishly mean teacher who seems to enjoy ostrasizing people.

well, if you plan to go to college and major in some degree taht involves some math......I.E, business, , Any engineering, Computer Science etc etc...you will need to use calculus. So I would just take it now, so it wiill be easier in college.

As for the use of calculus, you can find slopes of tangents, areas under curves, areas under volumes, electric current, and all sorts of neat stuff........so calculus is very important in real life.

Calc AB is easy. Why not? Calc BC, though, the C part is really hard (Calc 2 blows). As long as the teacher doesn't give boatloads of HW, it's an easy class.
