Hello, i am a high school studen currently taking the fun fun math called calculas. I was just wondering if anyone here ever used it in real life. I am really close to quiting the class due to the teacher and the work that seems way to hard.

if you go into anything science/engineering related, calculus is basic required knowledge, kinda like multiplication and addition

It really depends on what you want to do after high school. I'm a computer science major so yes I do use it a lot. I took calc 1 in high school and calc 2 my freshemn year. it wasn't easy but I got it out of the way and am ahead of many other because of it. I needed it for other classes so it really depends on what you want to major in.

I'm a computer science major and I mostly only use it in other calculus and physics classes...

Forget about high school calculus. I think you need to retake high school English.

Do you plan to attend college and major in a scientific or engineering field? If so, you'll need to take a complete set of calculus anyways, so you might as well do as much as you can now and get it over with.
