12 year warranty is awesome, but would I have to ship the chair to them, or can I just take it to any authorized reseller for repair? Shipping one of those chairs seems like it'd be pretty expensive.

Edit:
Also, any authorized resellers with particularly good prices?

With the price they charge, it should have a lifetime warranty.
Most of the chairs at staples have longer warranty than the 12 year :p

That's like comparing a Hyuandi to a Mercedes. A piece of crap is still a piece of crap.

(I'm typing this from my piece of crap Staples chair.)

I haven't seen a chair at Staples or Office Depot with more than a 1year warranty..

I got a used Aeron chair at home that beats the crap out of my Office Depot piece of shit at work.. We replace el-cheap Office Depot $200 chairs about once every 1-2 years. Aeron chairs easily last 12 years - and they're about 4x more comfortable.

So.. $200 chair replaced 6 times over 12 years for $1200 total.. or Aeron chair for $800.. I'll take the Aeron.

It'd be helpful if you could hook a brotha up. :p I kid. But your prices seem about the same as all of the other stores I've seen online, which is a decent discount off list price - $749 for a bare-bones chair (with armrests) and $949 for a loaded chair. I'm thinking I'll go with the loaded chair, because my main complaint about my friend's chair was that it didn't have the tilt limiter.

All I can suggest is that you find a place that you can demo it for an extended period of time.

I've got a Mirra right now at work and I wouldn't pay a fraction of the money that my employers probably gave for this thing.

Try Sit4Less. I bought a couple through them. If you haggle on the phone, they'll drop a few bucks off, too.

Plus free return shipping if you don't like the chair! Though you can return any chair in 1 year if your not happy with it!
