question about heatware

heatware seems to be the preferred credit establishment service around this forum, but i have a few questions about it. couldn't certain traders make up bogus user id's on heatware and fluff up their ratings? if it is that easy to establish ones credibility, i would think that heatware isn't so great.

As long as there are honest people out there...

But I think they check IP's and such so it would be harder for it to happen.

That has been happening lately. If you suspect that someone has fake evals, randomly check his refs. Most people would be happy to confirm/deny an eval on a deal.
