Question about Hard-drives and RAID config...

Didn't know eher to post a hard-drive question so thought i'd stick it here and let someone tell me where it's supposed to go after. Just wondering, is it theoretically possible to have two 60GB serial ATA drives in a RAID configuration, and then also a normal IDE ATA100 40GB as a backup. Basically, three drives in my rig, 2 SATA and 1 IDE. I presume it should work OK but I just wanted to make sure, cheers! 🙂

Wrong forum.

But yes you can have RAID 0 your 60GB and then manually backup on your IDE 40GB.

I don't think you can do RAID 0+1 with 3 drives though.
