I am putting together the following system this weekend.

1. i7 920 D0 stepping cpu.
2. Motherboard
3. 2 X GPU
4. Case
5. RamRam
6. Retention bracketso I can re-use my cpu cooler.
7. Hard drive

I already asked this question in General Harware with no luck. Should I initially install one GPU to set the system up and then install the second one after I install Windows and drivers?

You shouldn't have to only use one. I put them both in with the bridge on when I installed Windows 7. You can then enable SLI once you install the drivers and reboot.

Nope, your Nvidia tray icon will pop up and prompt you to enable SLI automatically.

You can install the drivers for both at once. I completely uninstall my drivers when updating them with no problems on re-boot.

You might as well start with the two cards installed. Until you install the NVIDIA drivers, Windows will only start with default drivers for one card anyway. At least if you have both cards installed, the NVIDIA drivers only need to be installed once.

Cool! 2 cards it is then. The build in the HAF 932 is going great so far. The case is huge and has lots of room to work in. I will post pics when I am done. Thanks for the help with the gpus.

Serradifalco sorry to ask you this question but what's wrong with your current system?
