That story posted on craigs list only happens if you're a fat tub of lard that has trouble wiping.

Take a long hot shower to soften the skin. Then you can either wax or pluck, don't use Nair, besides I think it says not to use it in the area of any openings on the bottle anyway. The first couple of times its going to hurt, but it doesn't after the 4th time or so you do it.

If you want a taste of the pain, pluck a hair really quick out of your face with a pair of tweezers or one of those hairs that grow on your big toe.

At any rate, as you will quickly learn, there is hair there for a reason. Razor rash, ingrown hairs and skin rub burns are no fun at all in that area.
