Question about Grand Theft Auto V mods?

I notice that there aren't any major mods for GTA V? I look on both Nexus and other GTA mod sites and new maps and area are not available meaning no one has created new area for GTA V like they did with Vice City and GTA III?

I also notice a lot of the car mods were just replacing in game model and few were add-on? Can you not get lot of new cars (variety) along with all the vanilla cars instead of replacing them? I want more variety in my game.

Along with these two things, there no mission mods that add new missions? Doesn't seem GTA V mods is anything but the most whack out mod out there and the GTA script is pretty much it. That disappointing unless I'm wrong? There was no category on Nexus mods for any of that cool stuff you get in Skyrim and I know no game can be modded like Skyrim but Vice City, GTA III, San Andreas had mods that added new land and/or area.

there was a team that made the vice city map on the gta v game.

they even made they're own multi-player.

rockstar responded by banning them.

Are you kidding me? Rockstar need to be shut down for good now. Tire of their crap these last few years. San Andreas was their last good and fully finish game.

Regardless can that team not make the map for single player uses like just add it to GTA V main map?

Rockstar is best developer ever, wish rockstar make more gta games.

The entitlement syndrome of some gamers is beyond ridiculous.

True but GTA V was unfinished and one of the shortest out of all GTA games.

I always felt gta 4 was shorter, I can't wait for red dead redemption to become available on xbone or pc. I haven't a chance to play it.

I never finished GTA IV because of some game breaking bug. Basically the final 3 mission never shown up.

I don't get why GTA V didn't take all the aspect that was in SA and improve upon it like body building for example. All I wanted was a better and bigger SA and unfortunately GTA V did not deliver.

And I don't think RDR will ever come to the PC. I would mod the hell out of it.

As long as I can get invincibility and about 9000 different crazy physics hacks/exploits/bugs in a trainer, I don't care about any missions in a GTA game

I've always thought it was odd that RDR never got ported to the pc, gta 3-5 have made the transition and most gta pc ports were the best versions too.

I will pick up RDR if and when its backwards compatible with xbone.
