Where better to get an answer than ATOT?
My younger brother is looking to start his own business. Currently he works for a large contractor that builds decks, sun rooms, etc. He wants to do the same thing, but for himself. He started researching, and when he went to the bank to ask about a loan, they advised him he needs to be in business for 2 years before they will give him a loan.
I can understand the risk of just offering a business loan to someone, but I thought the government promoted business start ups.
Does anyone know of any other ways to get a business loan?
