Question about Gaming with this laptop

I may buy a newer computer, however for right now I am stuck with the laptop of my girlfriend and thousands of miles away from my ¨home.¨ Anyways this laptop is decent from what I understand, however the graphics card I believe is the problem. However I am wondering if it´s worth it to even put games like Company of heroes, Shogun Total War 2, Hearts of Iron 3, Victoria II etc...(mostly historical strategies) because of the graphics card, and being a laptop I am reluctant to even try to change it (most likely being because it´s impossible).

The specs:
Intel I3 m370 2.40 GHz (4 CPUs)
3072 RAM (not sure on which type of DDR)
Intel HD graphics core i3 1271 MB

Well first of all the 370 is a dual-core with hyperthreading not a true quad-core.

The best thing to do is install a game and see. The only one of those I have played is CoH. The settings have a pretty wide range so setting them to low and moving up would give a pretty good idea of the kind of power you have. I wouldn't expect a whole lot but it should run.

The onboard video should be a little better than the one on this page. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-4500MHD-GMA-X4500MHD.9883.0.html
