Do the game requirements for 2D games go up just because they are made later and they assume that everyone must have better computers? For example, Age of empires 2 needed 2 MB of Vram to run and recommends 4MB. A Alladin TNT2 with 16MB of Vram can run it flawlessly. But games that are made later like Anno 1503, needs a minimum of 16 MB. So technically according to the company, the former card will lag. Same with american conquest. And Industry giant 2 need a minimum of 32 MB! So the tnt 2 that can play Age 2 and tiberian sun really fast can't even run industry giant. Same with the Ram. Age 2 needed 32MB of ram to run and recommends 64. anno 1503 needs a minimum of 256! Same thing goes with the cpu requirements So the question I am asking is, do those newer released 2D games around the same performance consuming as the older ones but just because it's released later the developer raised the requirements?
