Question about gallery2

I set up a gallery2 server from my home pc. When someone enters my ip address it brings them to a sort of 'behind the scenes' screen and I don't want them to mess with anything. How do I block access to the root directory and usher them straight to gallery? Also, can I change the address to something else? I am using WAMP. Thanks for any help.
