question about fsb and pci bus speed

hi..when you run fsb at 66mhz, is the pci bus speed running at 33mhz? so if u run fsb at 100mhz, does that mean the pcd bus speed is running at 50mhz? i got a voodoo3 3000 and didn't overclock it. it seems to run very very hot. it locks up in need for speed 3. i was wondering if the pci bus speed is at 50mhz, is my voodoo3 in a way overclocked?

my motherboard is a super 7 socket or whatever. then when i change the fsb, is the pci divider automatically changed then?

yes

also voodoo3's are known to take very high agp buses(100mhz + default is 66) I think a pci voodoo 3 would run on the dreaded 41.5mhz pci bus(overclocked bus). Your harddrive would fail before the video card in most cases.
