Question about Fortron PSUs + My Rig

EDIT: Oops, I just noticed the power supply thread sticky - Reading it now.

I've been wanting to purchase a new PSU to replace an old Antec 300W PSU that came with my case. Currently, my rig is as follows:

P4 2.4 (533FSB)
ECS L4S8A2 mobo
1GB PC2100 RAM (1x 512 stick, 2x 256 sticks)
Geforce 6800 (vanilla)
SoundBlaster X-Fi xtrememusic
2x 80GB HDs
1x DVDRW drive
1x Floppy

I've been able to run my system without problems (strangely). I've read that the 6800 is very power hungry, so as a precaution (and also for future investment), I want to buy a new PSU and decided on getting a Fotron off newegg. After reading the many threads about Fortron PSUs, I have a couple questions that haven't been confirmed:

1) What's the difference between the Fotron AX line and the FSP line? Someone said that the AX line MAY be subcontracted out to other companies, and thus have lower quality control, but this wasn't confirmed. More specifically, I want to buy this: Text

2) Are there any component-wise differences between the Blue Storms and the other Fortron PSUs? So far, I've gathered that the Blue Storms have sleeved cables and better plugs... and that's about it.

3) What are some possible errors that can happen when you have a bad/low wattage PSU? Random reboots? Hardware damage?

Thanks!

well, the 300w should be fine, but if you want to upgrade something or maybe just be on the safe side, you can upgrade.

1. the psu you linked is very good, extremely high quality. im having a really hard time figuring out why it is so cheap.

2. i think you should just stick with the one you linked

3. yeah, pretty much. its pretty hard to have much hardware damage, but mainly, reboots, crashes, pc wont start up etc...
