Quick questions. What is the differnece between formating useing the NTFS file system vs. useing the NTFS file system(Quick). Thank you.

Also, how can I get rid of unwanted partitions and just have all of my HDD memory on one partition. I tried just deleting the others but now the PC always ask me what OS I want to load at start-up, even though both choices are Windows XP. Thanks again.

NTFS (Quick) only formats the very beginning and end of a drive. It formats additional space as required by the OS.

NTFS (Full) formats the entire drive. Which can be good for finding bad sectors but it can take a long time for big drives.

Go to Control Panel->Performance Maintenance ->Administrative Tools->Computer Management ->Disk Management and then click on the partition you want to delete. Right click to see command options.
