Question about For Sale forums

Are we allowed to post "Feeler FS" posts, where we are just trying to see what we could get for some stuff, undecided on whether we want to sell yet or not?

Couldn't really decide where to put it, so I dropped it in OT.

Why can't you just set the price at something you do wanna sell it for, and if no one bites, just don't sell it
