Question about first class stamps.

notfred

Lifer
Ok, I've got a sheet of 18 stamps I bought at am ATM machine. The stamps have no monetary value on them, but simply say "first class". I assume they're currently worth $0.37. If the postage rate were to increase, would my stamps still be valid?

I don't ever remember seeing stamps w/o a value printed on them before.

i'd like to know the answer to this too... i had some first class stamps left over from the $0.34 days, and I used a couple recently and the letters got to the destination okay. so how do they work?

i believe so i think the post office keeps a bunch of those stamps on hand for when the price changes and they didnt get the newly priced stamps but

not 100% sure

the image on them denotes the price of them at time of issue for first class stamps with no denonmination.
i am guessing that you have the waving flag with no value printed.
they are valued at 37 cents now and forever. when (not if) the raters increase then you will have to use a small denomination stamp in conjunction with the old 37 centers.
