Question about film run-times

The Shawshank Redemption is said to be 2hrs and 22min by the imdb... do any of you know if that includes credits? I want to use that film for my Film studies class, but have a limited time. any help in this would be appreciated!

Run time is from the first frame to last, so yes.

Time it on the DVD player if you want to be accurate.
