I got this gigabyte mobo (GA-K8NF-9 NF4 4X), the mobo is cool and all, but unlike my previous gigabyte mobo it has no dual-bios feature. Now, I need to flash the BIOS, and I remmember that with my prev. mobo the dual-bios did save my ass a couple of time, since the version I flashed to was bad for some reason. So my Q is, if I flash my BIOS now, and somthing goes wrong am I f*cked? Or is there a way to recover, and how de hell do I flash with no backup?! Uh... help...! I guess.

Well dual bios are cool, but I've never had one.

Most mobo brands allow you to flash the BIOS via a windows program. It's easy and very little risk. If it screws up they probably have a utility you can d/l so check the gigabyte website out thoroughly.

If you do get a bad flash, you can always get a new BIOs for about $20 from here.

Course that didn't help me the one time inmy life I did get a bad flash, it was on a friend's Dell and found that the BIOS was soldered onto the mobo.
