Question about fake ids

So what happens if you use a fake id and the person didnt believe that it was you? They just deny you and say no and you're on your way?

some will just tell you to get lost, some will confiscate the id and tell you to scram, and some might try and call the cops.

I've also heard that they have a right to keep whatever the fake ID is in. For example, if you show your fake ID while it's in your wallet, they can keep your wallet. That's just what I've heard from people around school.

There is a bar in Saint Louis called Cicero's.

They've got a smaller bar in the back, they host small rock bands and the like, with another bar serving the room. The bar, wall behind it, and ceiling above it are completely covered with confiscated fakes. It's hilarious.

That happened to me once when I got my (real) ID checked at the door to a bar. The laminate on it was a bit sloppy so she thought it was fake.

I called the local PD and they sent an officer who verified it was real and gave it back to me.

The sad thing is if it had been a fake ID I would have trimmed the laminate myself and she never would have known the difference.

LOL morons at a bar recently thought my ID was fake because the background is a weird color apparantly and they let my friend in with a fake ID right after me. I told them to scan it but they didn't have a machine. Then the bouncer told me he "guess" he'd let me in. I was like, gee thanks for the favor retard. anyhow, rant over.

I've had friends who just get denied and sent on their way. I havent heard of anything too bad from the people I know. The worst I've heard was getting confiscated, but that's it.

But then most people I know just use fake IDs for clubbing, not for liquor stores. Seriously, you just go to Safeway if you need some stuff. But then I guess if you hang out with a under-21 crowd all the time, it's hard to get alcohol. Most people have a stash of alcohol anyways given that they can get it, so why bother? I guess when you're a kid you always wanna run out and buy some too.

I dont really need it to buy alcohol and tobacco. I live with my 33 year old cousin. Plus the fact that i never smoke often (once every 3-4 months maybe?) My friend who used to be a bouncer has stacks and stacks of these and he gave me one that he thought i looked like and i was wondering if anything would happen if i tried it.

I think this seriously depends what state you are in. Also if they can't really do anything if your ID is real but they don't believe you. If they try to pull something about that, then jsut sue their butts off. I'd get offended if my real ID was thought to be fake.

The reason people get caught with fake IDs is that they are fake. They do not look 100% real. Lil things like the shiny state logo and also they use different inks. I heard the red is really hard to reproduce. Not only that not all fakes can be scanned to show the proper address. Don't ask me how I know all this, hehehe. I'll just say I know some people who know some people who make IDs.
