I had my account deactivated for a while and reactivated it recently so was just wondering about something.

Under "friends you may know", it suggests adding people that I was already friends with previously. I'm guessing they unfriended me? But any idea why they still appear in my friends list and I can view their profiles? On their walls, it even says I can post something.

When I view "mutual friends", it may say I have 8 but only show 5 profiles. Why are the 3 hidden or I can't view who they are?

Go to their profile and it'll show you whether you're friends or not.

Some of the mutual friends may have deactivated.

Might be clone accounts. Used for scamming, they basically clone someone's profile and then chat with you about something. I had one about winning the lottery and having to claim my share because the person was sharing with me. It sounded fishy from the get go so I googled it and confirmed my suspicion.

Though I have seen weird things where a certain friend is suddenly gone from Facebook and my Friend list and everything, then appears later. Some kind of glitch I guess.

I have often seen this and wondered if my aunt did something she shouldn't have.

I only see it happen to I don't know the best way to say it, but, duller tools of the shed, so I wonder if it is indeed something those people do, like accept some kind of weird app or something.
