In Windows Explorer (XP), when you double-click on a folder in the right pane, is there a way to prevent all the subfolders form expanding in the tree in the left pane? If you don't understand what I'm asking here's an example. In Windows Explorer, single-click on a folder, say Program Files, in the left pane. Now in the right pane, double-click on one of those folders (a subfolders in Program Files). When I do that, in the left pane all 63 of my subfolders expand in the tree. However, I have one folder of MP3's where I have 123 subfolders. When I click on a folder in the right pane of the MP3 folder, only that one subfolder is shown as a subfolder in the tree on the left pane. Is there a magic number that causes this to happen, and is there a way to always only have just one folder expand, instead of all of them?
