Question about Epox 8k7a

Ordered a new system I will be building from newegg and need a question answered before it arrives.

I ordered the motherboard with the Amd 1600+/266 FSB Athlon XP.

The motherboard is suppost to be able to run the XP processors with the new bios update.

When it arrives how would I go about doing this.

Install all the hardware and boot to A: and install new bios first or configure bios then install new bios.

Comments, suggestions?

I'd flash it with the new BIOS before you do anything, I've always been told to try and do that first if possible, then install the OS and so on...

Just make sure you set the CMOS to default settings after the BIOS flash, I forgot to do that on a eariler EPOX MB and it caused lockups in winblows
