question about EP-8KHA+

I was just wondering what is the difference between the rev. 1 and rev. 2 for the EP-8KHA+ and how do u tell which version u have.

The revision number should be on the PCB. They fixed stability and compatibility issues. W00t I'm a senior member 😕

"if it shows the real clock, does that mean that it is rev. 1.0"

No, showing the clock speed is a function of the bios, not the revision of the board, and all 8KHA+ boards show the clock speed. Also, I got my 8KHA+ when they first came out and it was also a Rev 2 board, so I'm pretty sure all 8KHA+ boards out now are Rev 2.0. Also, the 8KHA+ is essentially the 8KHA with a KT266A northbridge in place of the original KT266, so the Rev 1.0's were probably the original 8KHA's. Sometimes the revision number is just a PCB revision, not an actual board change, and they may just call the PCB's that say 8KHA on them rev. 1.0, and the PCB's that have 8KHA+ silk screened on them, revision 2.0..🙂
