Question about entry-level position jobs

Are entry-level position jobs only meant for college grads? I've been looking on craigslist for jobs and am interested in many of the job advertisements placed on that website. However, the ones I'm interested in are entry-level office jobs. I'm only a first year college student with no prior work experience (except for a brief time working at an amusement park) so I'm not sure if I'm qualified to apply.

Even if you don't think you qualify, it doesn't hurt to apply. Besides, if they like your resume and call you in for an interview and they end up not hiring you, it's always nice to have interview experience.

Are you able to work 40-50 hours a week while attending college? They are probably full-time positions not you-pick-your-hours.

Are the jobs in the area of your major? Some employers offering entry-level jobs are trying to attract long-term employees, not someone who will leave in a year. Some are the exact opposite, and are designed for high employee turnover.

Entry-level just means you don't need any experience to take the job. Apply and do your best in an interview.
