Question about Enermax fan control and Asus mobo

My power supply has a 3-pin connector with two wires which I assume is for temperature reading. However my Asus CUSL2 has a 2-pin temperature sensor. Will I ever be able to use the fan control?

Your motherboard should have a three pin fan header marked "POWER". Plug that three pin connector into that and you should be all set.

yeah that's what I did but will that regulate the fan-speed? i see no difference with that plugged in vs. unplugged

FC model has a thermodiode whatever you call it. It's on 2 wires, looks like a small black thing, you hang that somewhere in your case for the temp. If it's not there you don't have the FC model. 3 pin connector is for power and RPM sensor, not temp.

it's a 3-pin connector coming out of the PSU but it only has two wires on it... and the fan works at the same speed whether it's plugged in or not...
