do i need to include a cover letter as well (if not specified)?

also on the side note...i'm looking for an internship pertaining to computer science and my gpa is not that great...barely above 3.0(horrible freshman year), and was wondering if it's a good or bad idea to put my GPA on the resume (i'm a junior by the way)?

thnx

How are you emailing them? Hopefully as an attachment, and if so the body of the email IS your cover sheet.

i was thinking about just emailing them the resume...they didnt say if i had to attach it or not but i figured that it would be tedious for them to download thousands of .doc files and have to open each one with MS Word...

Save your resume in .txt format. In your email, in the body copy and paste the .txt format resume. Then make a note , that you are attaching a resume in word format. Attach the word format resume. When someone is interested in a resume, they always print it out and read it.
