I want to upgrade an older P133 with EDO simms so I can run Linux (Mandrake 9.0) and W98SE as a router and MP3 player. I have 48MB ram and I want to go to 128MB. I have a total of 6 memory slots. My question is this: When buying memory, and it is advertised as 32MB, does this mean that each stick is 32MB or 2 sticks (required to install in pairs) equal 32MB. I am thinking if I put in 4 32MB sticks I will have my 128MB of memory. Am I correct? If so would these be 8MB X 32 sticks?

Yes.

If you install 4 32mb (8x32mb) EDO sticks you will have 128mb.
Pentiums motherboards are 64bit boards, requiring the ram to be
installed in pairs.

But do be aware that I've seen memory sticks (back in the day) advertised at cost per stick, but the megabyte count was for a pair.
