question about ebay transactions

I won 5 auctions from the same seller yesterday. Each auction said that they 'combine shipping' when multiple auctions are won.

The totals for the shipping quoted in all the auctions adds up to $11.50 ($2.50 x 3 + $2 x 2). The seller wants $9.00 for their combined shipping cost. The only reason I bid on some of the auctions was because they were only $1 each.

Do you think the shipping is too high?

PARKER PUSH BOTTON LATCH 1 US $0.99 US $0.99
PARKER STORM DOOR CLOSER - NIB 1 US $1.25 US $1.25
PARKER STORM DOOR CLOSER - NIB 1 US $1.25 US $1.25
PARKER STORM DOOR CLOSER - NIB 1 US $0.99 US $0.99
PARKER PUSH BOTTON LATCH 1 US $0.99 US $0.99

should have asked before you bid.
I would try to ask for a compromise at ~$6 or $7 for shipping.

If you wan to play rough, threaten to give her 5 negative feedbacks.

Not worth it over the few bucks. Just pay.

Remember, she'd also give you 5 negs.

Yeh I think she's jacking the freight up a bit cause these items sold for much less than she thought.

I'll send her what she wants, but I'll also hint that the actual freight should reflect what she charged me. Thanks guys

Alright, it was shipped by UPS and freight charge is reasonable. But heres the problem: I emailed the seller 6 days after I paid on Oct.21, and she claimed it had been sent (her email dated Oct.27). As I look at the tracking information, the first entry for origin scan is Oct.29, 6:15pm, so I'm guessing she lied to me.

This is from a 'power seller' who has 100% feedback (1204 positives). Wtf? She has already left me positives for all 5 items. How many, if any, negatives would you leave for this seller?

none. you got the item in a timely matter. maybe not as fast as you wanted.

oh and post office tracking sucks. do not really on that.

how is she shipping them?...if USPS then I don't think that's too high, she may even lose a little if you are far away.

I charge fair shipping and I get constant complaints that how can a .50 cent item cost $3.85 to ship priority.
