question about e-bay policy

I have been selling a long time on e-bay, but I could never understand one thing.
Let's say I sold something. And the buyer doesnt like the item for some reason when he/she gets it. Provided the item was as advertised, but there is NO buyer protection, and NO refund terms written in the listing, yet the buyer still finds something he doesnt like and starts asking for his money back. Am I OBLIGATED to refund him? Or I can tell em to get lost?
Off course I would never try to deliberately send something to someone that they wouldnt like. I have good feedback, and I'd hate to ruin it. This is only a question so that I know what are my options for the future if something like this happens.

no buyer protection means they can take back their money for any reason...even if you shipped them the item with tracking, they can do a rollback on their credit card and your screwd

buyer's problem if he doesnt like the product,
