Question about DVI

Hey guys, i have used my mitsubishi 21'' display for about 4 years (obviously crt) now and it has served me really well. I have been reading a lot about DVI and people are saying that it's a better interface. It obviously is a more precise interface and stuff like that... but in terms of real-world use... would i actually see much of a difference between my current display and (lets pretend they made this same monitor with dvi input) a dvi version of this monitor.

Any comments would be great
Thanks

Search for DVI vs VGA.

I think that if a CRT used a DVI cable, it would be taking out the analog VGA signal embedded within it instead of using a DAC to get the signal back to analog, so you'd be back where you started even it was a DVI connection.

There are plenty of threads on this topic already though for LCDs.
