I currently have a 21" sony g500 crt monitor but am looking into buying an lcd as they look neat and I've never owned one before. I was wondering if I'd be able to ues a crt and an lcd at the same time with both on and displaying the same image? If not I'd still be able to have them both hooked up and turn on the one I want to use wouldn't I? They both have their advantages and for certain games with a non-native resolution I'd just use my crt instead. The lcd I'm looking into getting is the sony 19" HS94P. Does anyone else have any lcd recommendations? I've heard samsungs are great but I just don't know if I can buy something by samsung. Or does anyone know if lcds will get significantly better in the next year or two? If so I can wait but if it's just going to be more of the same, I want one now! :)

That Samsung is better than a sony hs94p? If it is that would be a steal for that cheap. But from the specs the sony looks better in almost every way. It will primarily be for gaming so the 12ms response time should be great. I know not to trust those response times fully but every user review of it has said there is barely any ghosting even with high framerate shooters. I also read you get a lot of glare due to the glass screen in front of it but I'm not too concerned as I mainly use it at night and looking at it at best buy it wasn't near as bad as the users reviews made it out to be. The problem is I can't find an official review of it. You'd think there would be at least one credible site that has reviewed it by now. If anyone knows of a site or if there's anyone else that can give me their firsthand experience with this lcd let me know please.
