Question about Duron Voltages

Currently my system is running rock stable at 950 w/ 1.75volts on a KT7. system temp is 22 degrees Celcius and CPU temp is 29-30 degrees. Is it safe to go higher with voltage? my system would hang, giving me the error bad boot device when I went to 1GHz.

Any suggestions are appreciated

a higher voltage should give u increased stability, making it more should give u stable at 1gig. i've got a Duron 700@900 @ 1.8v, and that is the lowest i can get mine stable. higher voltages will make it more stable, and will give a little more heat, but cpu temp of 29-30 is bloody good for 950
