My Xctasy GF4 ti4600 has a dual monitor connection for regular crt monitors and flat panel screens (dvi)

I can buy a vga adaptor for the flat panel connection - so does that mean if I have two regular CRT monitors, and i put the vga adaptor on the dvi connection, I can have dual monitor display on this card?

Awesome, thanks. On my way to Fry's now ;)

Card doesn't come with an adaptor, my only complaint

Yes, those DVD - DSUB connectors should work fine most of the time.

The one thing to make sure is that you have good shielded VGA cables. Or throw some ferrite beads on it. ;)
Also, if the monitors are sitting too close to each other, they might pick up each others' noise. If it's possible to use different resolutions or refresh rates on both monitors, it would fix the noise problem.

I'm currently running dual monitors side by side with two video cards...no noise or noticeable problems....would just like to free up a pci slot.

And Fry's didn't carry the connector.....

Newegg has the connectors. Just search "dvi" at the main page and it should be the first return. Eight bucks w/free shipping.
