question about dual core support out of the box

I dont have the option of using a single core to flash the bios and then install the dual core so i would like to know which motherboards will support my dual core cpu out of the box without bios update
If the mobo can recognize 1 of 2 cores and let me flash to a newest bios then thats fine too :>

Yes the mobo will run with 1 core, then you can flash the bios and it will have two.
