question about dual channel

i have a dfi 250gb nf3 mobo and was wondering if it supports dual channel? in this review here it doesn't mention dual channel and in cpuz it says in "channel #" single

It is a socket 754 board and thus does not support dual channel.

socket 754 processors operate on single channel

socket 939 processors operate on single (if only 1 memory stick) or dual channel

ok cool, right now i have 2x512 in slot 1 and slot 3, should i put them in slot 1 and slot 2 instead or does it matter?
