question about dsl routers

I have a connection with two IPs. I want to use one IP dedicated for one computer
and share the other connection. Does anyone know if these routers (specifically netgear) are configurable to do this?

For example, can I do :

DSL modem -> router -> 4 computers, incl 1 computer w/ dedicated ip and 3 computers w/ shared ip

or do i have to do

DSL modem -> switch -> router -> 3 computer w/ shared ip
...................................->computer with dedicated ip

?
